The Management Development Program is a bespoke hybrid training experience designed specifically for WA Country Health Service's frontline health care staff.

This comprehensive 19-module leadership program is nationally accredited and expertly crafted to equip participants with the essential management skills they need to thrive in their roles.

Combining online learning with face-to-face workshops, ensuring a flexible and engaging approach that caters to diverse learning styles.

This program not only enhances professional competencies but also fosters a culture of effective leadership within the healthcare sector, empowering staff in making a real impact to WA Country Health Service.

The Challenge

I was engaged to lead the evaluation of the trial program and spearhead the comprehensive redesign of the learning solution. My primary objective was to ensure the program was not only engaging but also mapped strictly against nationally accredited qualification standards.

The Design Process

I utilised an enhanced P+ADDIE framework, ensuring every phase of the redevelopment was grounded in data and aligned with the overarching organisational strategy.

Planning: I established a clear roadmap, defining critical milestones and deliverables to ensure a seamless transition from the trial phase.

Analysis: I conducted a deep-dive audit of the pilot resources, identifying learning gaps and uncovering opportunities to elevate the content for a national audience.

Design: I created a sophisticated learning journey, moving from high-level frameworks to detailed storyboards, prototypes, and technical design specifications.

Development: Produced premium suite of resources, including the core curriculum, interactive pre-requisite eLearning, and comprehensive guides for facilitators and learners.

Implementation: Provided a turnkey solution to the Learning & Development Manager, including a robust implementation plan for a smooth rollout.

Evaluation: To measure success, a high-level reporting framework was developed based on the Kirkpatrick-Phillips model, focusing on measurable impact and ROI.

Rigorous Formal Assessments mapped directly to the Diploma of Leadership and Management, ensuring participants emerge both confident in their skills and formally qualified.
